BLACK IS BLACK

THE ALLURING, POWERFUL NON-COLOR

Black may be popularly regarded as the absence of all color, or as the combination of all colors, or as no color at all.

Technically, black does not appear on the visible spectrum of color, as a glance at any rainbow will prove. Unlike other colors, black is not a reflection of light, for, by definition, it is the absence of light. What the human eye perceives as white or as different colors are the reflections of light, but black can exist in nature without any light at all.
