AND THEN THERE’S BROWN


What to make of brown, that peculiar child of red and yellow, with a dollop of black in its makeup, that is sometimes described as a dark shade of orange? It appears widely throughout nature and throughout such human-made creations as furniture and clothing. It’s almost impossible to think of the world of fashion without brown, an essential color in many a designer’s palette.
