MY VIOLET VIBE

IT’S DARKER THAN PURPLE AND SOMETIMES STEALS ITS THUNDER

Like purple, violet is situated between red and blue on the color wheel; technically speaking, it is the name given to one of the colors of light at the short-wavelength end of the visible spectrum.

Violet, which shares its name with a flower, is one of the seven colors the 17th-and-18th-century English mathematician, physicist, and astronomer Issac Newton identified when he divided up the spectrum of visible light into its component parts in 1672.
